We are currently seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and supportive individuals to join our team in Ridgefield, CT. If you love chess and want to help inspire the next generation of players, we want to hear from you! Explore our open Saturday positions below:

Chess Instructor (Saturdays, 12:00 PM)
We are looking for an empathetic and reliable instructor to lead classes for our scholastic players.
Schedule:
Saturday mornings/midday at 12:00 PM, with opportunities for additional hours.
Compensation:
$55 per class (following a 2-week onboarding period).
Who you are:
An experienced player (peak US Chess rating of 1500+ desired, or strong online equivalent) who is 18+ and loves working with kids.

Chess Club Assistant (Saturdays, 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM)
Perfect for enthusiasts with busy schedules! Help our younger, beginner, and intermediate players by helping solve puzzles, offering personalized instruction during class, and related responsibilities.
Schedule:
Saturdays from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM (occasional absences are okay!)
Compensation:
$30 per day (following a 2-week trial period).
Who you are:
A chess enthusiast (US Chess rating of 800+ is a plus) who is 18+ and has some experience working with kids, teaching, or camp counseling.
